 Jon Chen, a native of Chengdu, China, currently lives in Texas, USA.  In the 1970s, Jon studied with Madam Zhu, Peijun, a well-known Chinese traditional painting artist and the president of the Chengdu Academy of Painting. In the 1990s, Jon obtained a master's degree from Michigan State University, USA. In 2017, Jon studied in the China Central Academy of Fine Arts under Professor Su,  Baijun and completed his work in the Chinese Painting High-Level Workshop.
